Piirtäkää iso risti seinään, koska MINÄ sain valmiiksi customin, joka on ollut vaivaisen vuoden työn alla. Herramunjee!

Believe it or not, I've finished a custom pony that I've been doing about a year!

G3 kustomi, pohjana baitti Moondancer. Kroppa maalattu mustaksi, maalit Galerian akryyleja. Rootattu Dollyhairin Virgin Snowlla ja Key Limella, keltainen on itseasiassa Boysenberry Pielta jäänyttä karvaa. :)

G3 custom, the bait is Moondancer. Full body paint, paints are Galeria's acrylics. Rooted with Dollyhair's Virgin Snow and Key Lime. The yellow hair is actually from Boysenberry Pie.

Hieman koristuksia, höyhentä, helmiä, satiininauhaa ja Swarovskin kristalleja.

She's been decorated with some beads, bows, feather and Swarovsk's crystals.

Nimen keksiminen customille on aina vaikeaa, mutta tälle tytölle tuli nimi kun viimeistelin häntä ja kuuntelin David Bowieta. Wild-Is-The-Wind. Kappale on iiiihana ja sopii kustomin luonteeseen. Jotain sellaista siinä on.

Coming up with a nice name is always a big pain in making a custom. When I was finishing her up I listened to David Bowie and then! Wild-Is-The-Wind. I love that song and the name fits her character.

Onpahan valmis. En kyl tiiä jääkö omaan kokoelmaan vai yritänkö kaupata maailmalle. Mutta kiva siitä tuli, vaikka kauan siinä menikin!

Oh well, now she's ready. I'm not sure if I'm keeping her or trying to sell. But she came out pretty nice, even though it took a long time.

Mulla on kuvattuna ihan hirveä määrä uusia poneja! Kun olisi vain aikaa muokata kuvat ja päivitellä...

I've got a huge amount of new ponies to introduce! If only I had the time...

Midnight Garden

Ensimmäinen G3 kustomini! Tämä oli mukava tehdä, G3 ponien vartalot on jotenkin niin mukavia työstää.

My first G3 custom! This one was really nice to work with, I like the G3 bodies.

Pohjana on Fluttershy, jonka vartalo oli tuhrittu pinkillä yliviivaustussilla ja siinä oli nirhaumia. Muuten neitonen oli hyväkuntoinen, joten säästinkin hänen alkuperäiset karvansa ja vartalonvärin.

The bait is Fluttershy, who's body was ruined with pink highlighter and she also had scratches. Otherwise she was in a nice condition, so I kept her original hair and body color.

Tein ensiksi siivet, joiden pohjalta sitten tein koko ponin. Siipiin sain idean täältä.

I made the wings first and kept going on getting all my ideas based on the wings. The idea for the wings is from here.

Siivet on maalattu kynsilakalla ja lasimaalilla. Päällä on kiiltävä varnish.

The wings are painted with nail polish and glass paint, finished with gloss varnish.

Symbolit piti maalata punaisten sotkujen päälle ja niiden piti olla tarpeeksi peittäviä. Päädyin eräänlaiseen mystiseen puutarha-aiheeseen, puut ja kukat peittävät aika kivasti pinkin värin ja kolot vartalossa.

I needed to paint the symbols on those nasty pink marks and they needed to be as opaque as possible. I ended up with this mystique garden, the trees and flowers cover up nicely marks in her body.

Maalit ovat Galerian akryyleja ja ne on päällystetty matalla varnishilla.

Paints are Galeria's acrylics and all the body's paint work is finished with matt varnish.

Ja kuten moni tietää, niin tällainen poni on vain keräilyesine. Tällä ei voi leikkiä, se on vain kaunis koriste. Aion myydä tämän, jos joku tämän haluaa. :)

As all know, this pony is not for play. She's only a collectible piece, a show off toy. :) I'm selling her, if anyone's interested in having her.

"Baitteja" "Baits"

Ostin Etsystä itselleni muutaman G3 baitin. Ne olivat todella halpoja ja minua niin kiinnostais kokeilla kustomoida G3 poni. Ponit tulivat nopsaa, viikossa kolahtivat postilaatikkoon. Silmäilin ponit ja huomasin, että vain yksi neljästä ostamastani ponista oli oikeasti baitti! Muut pääsivät hoidon jälkeen hyllyyn. :)

I bought few G3 baits from Etsy. They were pretty cheap and I'm really interested in trying to customize a G3 pony! They arrived really quickly, about in a week. After opening the package I realized that only one of four "baits" was a real bait! Three other got a little treatment and are now in my shelf. :)

Kaikilla oli harjat takussa, pintalikaa ja parilla oli myös mustetahroja, jotka lähtivät auringossa. :)

They all had frizzy hairs, a lot of dirt and two of them had few blue-pen stains that cleaned out nicely in sunlight. :)

Uusia poneja! / New ponies!

Viime kuukausi on ollut hyvä ponikuukausi. :) Ponilaumaan on saapunut uusia kopukoita!

This month has been a really nice ponymonth. :) Many new ponies has arrived to the herd!



Ostin Etsysta halvalla todella hyväkuntoisen FF Mintyn, jota en oo vielä kertaakaan tainnu tavata ees Ebayssa. Ikäisekseen tämä tytteli on tosi hyväkuntoinen, hieman toisenpuolen symbolissa kulumaa (yhdessä apilassa) ja niskassa pieni piste. Karvat ihanassa kunnossa. Ihana lisä kokoelmaan!

I bought this really nice looking FF Minty from Etsy, and she was cheap! For her age, she's in a really good condition. There's only just a teeny tiny scrub on symbol on the nds side and a teeny tiny spot on her neck. Hair is just amazing! She's a lovely addition to my collection.

Ja sitten! Ihana ystäväni Pinja antoi minulle pari hänelle kerääntynyttä tuplaa ja pari baittia. :)

And then! My lovely friend Pinja gave me two ponies that she had in double and two baits. :)

Tässä ensimmäinen lahjus, Swirly Whirly (UK: Butter Kiss) (Year 6 (1987-1988), Sundae Best Ponies). Hän on ihastuttava, joskin vaati hieman työstämistä. Pippurilikaa oli melkolailla, enkä saanut ihan kaikkea pois. Symbolit olivat kuluneet, mutta maalasin ne uudelleen.




Here's one of the gift ponies, Swirly Whirly. She's lovely, although she needed some restoration. She had a lot of pin dot mold, and I didn't manage to get all off. Her symbols were also worn, but I re-painted them. Her main is a little thin, but curls made it look better. :)



Harjas päässä on hieman ohut, mutta kiharat auttoivat kummasti ulkonäköä. :)

Ja toinen on Playtime (School-time Ponies, International 1990). Hän on ihan ok kunnossa, joskin ds puolen symbolissa on kulumaa ja hänessä on hieman jälkiä, joita en saanut puhdistettua. Täytyy odottaa, että pääsen kokeilemaan auringonvaloa! Ja symboleja voi aina korjailla. :) Hiukset ovat ihanat ja kroppa hyväkuntoinen.

And the other is Playtime. She's in ok condition. She has rubs on ds symbol and she has few marks, that didn't wash off. Now I need to wait that I can test what sunlight does to those marks... Symbols can always be repaired if needed! Her hair's lovely and body is nice.



Ja sitten... ENSIMMÄINEN G3 PONINI! Eräs ystäväni oli ostanut tämän minulle kirpparilta. :) Ihana yllätys! Hänen nimensä on Skywishes. Aivan ihana, lähes mintti. Harjaksissa alkuperäistä kiharaa ja ei mitään kulumia missään! Tämä tytteli ei tarvinnut kuin hienoisen pyyhkäisyn ihmesienellä.

And then... MY FIRST G3 PONY! A friend of mine bought her to me from a second hand store. :) What a lovely surprise! Her name is Skywishes. She's adorable, near mint! The hair has the original curl and she has no rubs or cuffs! She needed just a little swipe with magic eraser.



Nyt odottelen saapuvaksi Ebay ostosta, jossa pitäisi tulla pari Rainbow-ponia. :) Siihen asti, heip!
Now I'm waiting for an Ebay package to arrived, two Rainbow ponies. :) Until that, hidy ho!
